MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY
Our Mental Health Therapist are licensed with the State of MN or they are a clinical trainee working toward licensure and have oversight of a licensed professional. They have experience working with individuals with mental health challenges and will work with you weekly one-on-one, either in your home or at our Brooklyn Park office.
People will seek out therapy to help them cope with anxiety, depression, past trauma and the like. By talking with a therapist, you will learn new ways to manage your symptoms associated with mental illness. Our therapist will work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your needs.
Some of the strategies they may use to help you:
- CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy): focuses on current problems and finding solutions for them
- DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy): teaches you new skills to manage painful emotions and decrease conflict in relationships
- MI (Motivational Interviewing): helping you come to your own conclusions by asking you open-ended questions
